When I try to look up individual species in the plant list to develop native guilds I'm having some difficulties. First, if I want to export a CSV after a plant search, there is no way to set for metric measurements. It is incredibly simple to order plants from tallest to shortest to analyze layers if everything is measured equally rather than feet for woody and inches for forbes. Yes I'm Canadian and very familiar with metric, but I'm also equally familiar with imperial because of my profession. However for the database itself, it would make a lot more sense to either use decimals with feet for everything in the imperial, or (much preferred) allow metric to be enabled for plant list searches.

Second, I find the search field is very fussy. I've learned to use the underscore to separate words for the scientific name field, but for common name, I can enter the name exactly the same as actually displays when it is found by scientific name and it won't find anything.
In the search and display pages you can click on metric measurements.
It should download with metric.

Ill take a look at the search issue.

What browser are you using?

Thanks,

Dan
