It is difficult to have dates for anything since we are used in many different growing zones. That is why we use spring, summer, fall ,winter terms for seasonality. We had a lot of north American bias prior to international expansion in the plant species. At one time we had months, but that wa problematic, especially for southern hemisphere users and the tropics.
